Where is the ASPETE Library & Information Center?
The Library & Information Center of ASPETE is located at the Peace Station of the Power Station (ISAP) on the left side facing north. Within the building facilities of ASPETE is the first building on the side of Kymi Avenue.
How can we get to the Library?
You can come to the Library by train from the Metro Station or by car.
What are the opening hours of the Library for the public?
The Library is open Monday-Thursday 9:00 – 19:00 and Friday 9:00 – 18:00. The opening hours may be modified around public holidays, the summer months and exam periods. The Library is closed on public holidays.
I am not a member of the ASPETE Academic Community. Can I visit the ASPETE Library & Information Center?
Yes you can visit the ASPETE Library & Information Center.
You also have the opportunity to stay in the study area of the reading room by making on-site use of the books in the library collection as well as making use of its computers.

How can I become a member of the library?
You must be an active member of the Academic Community of ASPETE, ie be a Teaching staff, Administrative staff, Student of the Institution.
I am a student at ASPETE but I do not have an academic ID can I become a member of the Library?
If you do not have an academic ID you only need a certificate from the secretariat of the department you belong to.
I am not a member of the Academic Community of ASPETE can I use the Library?
Yes, you can make use of the Library with the ability to stay in the study area of the reading room by making on-site use of the books in its collection as well as you can make use of its Computers or your Laptop.
How many books can I borrow and for how many days?
You can borrow up to four (4) books for four (4) days with the right to renew two (2) times.
When should the books I have borrowed be renewed?
The renewal of the books you have borrowed should be done one (1) day before the expiration date of the books you must return.
Can I book books for borrowing?
You can book the books you would like to borrow by arranging with the Library staff.
What is Interlending?
Interlending is the service for borrowing books from other libraries, this service has been developed among the Academic Libraries – members of S.E.A.B. and serves the needs of ONLY the members of the Academic Community of the Foundation. Executes loan applications for books, conference proceedings, etc. which are not in the collection of the ASPETE library.
What is the procedure for Interlending?
Interlibrary loan is made on request to the Library of ASPETE to the Library that has in its collection the book / s you are interested in, the Library to which we will address will send an answer to satisfy your request.
I am a member of the Academic Community of ASPAITE and I need to borrow books from another Library, do I have this possibility of service?
Yes you have this option through the Interlibrary loan service.
For how many days can I borrow books with the interlibrary loan service?
Book Lending through Interlending is determined by the policy and regulations of each library that will lend books.
How can I find a book if it is in the Library collection?
You can find the books you are looking for through the Library online catalog (OPAC)
What information should I use to find the books I need?
You can use Keywords or Author Name or Book Title or ISBN by applying simple search or advanced search.
What should I note when I find the books I need in the Library catalog?
The title of the book, the author and the tax symbol of the item.
How can I make use of the magazines in the Library collection?
The use of the magazines is done only on the spot in the Library as well as a short loan for photocopies.
Return of books from the “Eudoxos” system
In which case should I return a book of the "Eudoxos" system to the Library?
The return of books from the “Eudoxos” system is done in cases where an error has been made in the statement that you have submitted to Eudoxus.
What is the procedure for returning books of the "Eudoxos" system to the Library?
You communicate with the Library and together with your Academic Identity and the books of Eudoxus that you must return, you become the return of the books of “Eudoxus”.
Can I come and stay to study at the Library?
Yes you can come and use the study area of the Reading Room.
Are there PCs in the ASPETE Library available for users?
The Library has Computers that are available to the public.
Is there a wireless network (Wi-Fi)?
A Wi-Fi wireless network is available that you can connect to by requesting passwords from Library staff.
Can we use our personal Laptop?
You can use your personal Laptop.
