We would like to inform you that the Association of Greek Academic Libraries participates and supports the SCOAP3 Books Initiative initiative for the conversion of basic and important books into an Open Access regime. As part of this initiative, the first four books of the World Scientific publishing house are already available openly with CC-BY licenses, for which you can see the relevant details below:

The titles of the books are accessible through the SCOAP3 Collection website, in the OAPEN digital library, while in order to ensure the long-term preservation of these titles, the books were also submitted to Portico. More books are expected to be converted to CA status in the coming months, by publishers such as Springer Nature and Taylor & Francis. Finally, a website has been created listing all the institutions and organizations that have contributed to this SCOAP3 initiative.
